The Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) Annual Conference and Awards is the largest IR event in MENA.

This benchmark event brings together participants from locally listed firms, international corporates, investors, research analysts and advisors, as well as representatives of the region's Regulatory bodies. The aim of the Conference is to provide delegates with a networking platform and to encourage dialogue around market challenges and best practice, while educating participants and stakeholders on the importance of Investor Relations, transparency and corporate governance.

H.E Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei

H.E. Ghannam Butti Almazrouei is the Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, where he oversees 24 billion dirhams in programs aimed at enabling greater participation of UAE nationals in the private sector. He is responsible for implementing the council’s strategy for filling 75,000 jobs in the private sector with Emirati talent over the next five years. In his role, he is also responsible for updating internal regulations around finance, technical, human resources and organisational structure regulations.

H.E. Almazrouei is Chairman of ADX and he also serves as a board member of Abu Dhabi Pensions Fund, where he holds the position of Chairman of the HR Committee. Additionally, H.E. Almazrouei is a member of the Board of Trustees at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.

In his career, H.E. Almazrouei was Group Human Capital Director at ADNOC, where he led four functions and divisions that support over 900 employees. He has more than 21 years of experience at ADNOC Group companies and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, holding several senior leadership positions in Finance Control and Human Resources. This included leading the Human Capital corporate strategy to enhance policies and talent development. He holds a master’s degree of Science in Financial Economics from Boston University and a BSc. In Business Administration/Finance from Suffolk University.

HE. Dr. Maryam Al Suwaidi is among the top-notch dynamic finance and regulatory professionals from the region, having a career spanning more than 2 decades in multifarious disciplines connected with Financial Markets including regulating securities and derivatives markets, financial services and products, insurance, oversight of the national credit bureau, Anti-Financial Crime supervision, Fintech, Virtual Assets, apart from being a scholar in Islamic and conventional jurisprudence.

Presently, Her Excellency is the CEO of Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), the mainland UAE’s capital market regulator. Her Excellency provides leadership to the Boards of Hawkamah Institute for Corporate Governance as Vice Chairperson, as a Board Member at Al Etihad Credit Bureau and the UAE’s Digital Economy Council, and Trustee Member at the Board of UAE CSR Fund.

Her Excellency has been accorded honors by multiple international organizations including featuring several times in the Top Lists in the Middle East by Forbes and Arabian Business magazines, featured by NASDAQ on its Board in Times Square, NY, first Emirati woman to be accredited by the FATF as an AML/CFT assessor of Countries, and a Graduate of the UAE’s Prime Minister’s Government Leaders’ program.

Dr. Al Suwaidi holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Leeds, UK, a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law from the University of Wales, an Honors degree in ‘Shariah and Law’ from the UAE University, ICA(UK)’s International Diploma in AML and is a registered lawyer at the UAE’s Ministry of Justice.

With extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), commercial and investment banking, capital markets, change management, debt and financial restructuring, Klaus Froehlich has been at the helm of ADNOC’s Group Strategic Investments Function since 2020. He is responsible for executing both ADNOC’s short and long-term growth and value creation strategies.

Prior to joining ADNOC, Froehlich spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, including 17 years at Morgan Stanley and more recently for three years as Chief Financial Officer of the Saudi Binladin Group in Jeddah. Previously, he has held various roles at BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.

Froehlich is Founder of KF Advisory LLC, where he currently also serves as Managing Director, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Growthgate Partners Dubai. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Andrew is a Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Al Tamimi & Co, with over 17 years of experience in the region, he is widely recognised as a leading lawyer for capital markets and M&A in the Middle East. 

Andrew has particular expertise in all aspects of capital markets and public company transactions, particularly IPOs, other equity fund raisings, debt securities and Sukuk. Andrew has been ranked in Band 1 or Band 2 in Chambers Global since 2008 and is a “Leading Individual” in Legal 500 for UAE and Middle East Capital Markets. Commentators described him as "very knowledgeable, practical and energetic, and gets things done", “a big player who brings a lot of expertise to his team” and as “a leading figure in the capital markets space” with “a solid track record in multibillion-dollar IPOs”.   • Direct reservations must be made prior to 30 days (11th November 2024) prior to the arrival (the "Hotel Room Release Date”)​​
  • Any additional Hotel Rooms required after the final Hotel Room Release Date are strictly subject to availability
  • Rates will be published up to 30 nights prior to arrival. A credit card will be required at the moment of the booking to guarantee the room
  • In the event of a no show on the date of arrival, a 100% no show fee for all Hotel Room nights booked will apply for the duration of the stay and will be charged directly to the guest via the credit card provided when reserving the room
  • In the event of cancellation, guest can cancel reservation up to 30 days prior to the arrival without charges, however any cancellations made 29 days or less prior to the arrival date a full stay cancellation fee will be charged
