How to Apply
The Middle East Investor Relations Conference is the largest Investor Relations event in the Middle East, gathering Investor Relations Officers and professionals from the entire region. In 2024, we are expecting more than 300 delegates to attend the event.
The Middle East Investor Relations Association’s 2024 IR Best Practice Awards scheme is conducted in partnership with Institutional Investor and based on the results of the Emerging EMEA Executive Team survey conducted by II Research. Every year, global buy- and sell-side professionals give their votes for the best IR programmes and professionals, including CEOs and CFOs, in the Middle East.
In preparation, IR teams are required to verify their company information and contact details as well as to provide their insights into IR trends and best practices. This process is already open and it is recommended to start it at the earliest as the official polling process with the buy and sell-side will start on 2 April.
This Executive Team research has evolved into a crucial tool for corporate IR and Executive Teams, sell-side, and increasingly, buy-side entities to assess the quality and efficacy of their ongoing engagement and communication efforts. The data derived from this process is instrumental in conducting their impartial annual performance evaluation, monitor market sentiment and benchmark against peers.

Timeline
- Corporate Insights Survey: 26 February – 29 March
- Submitting Buy and Sell-Side contact list: 15 March

The Best IR Reporting Award is a self-nominated category with the outcomes determined by a judging panel's selection and review.
This year's novelty is the inclusion of three new categories: Best 1 year Post IPO Annual Report; Best IR Film and Best Sustainability / ESG Report (print). The new categories will be added to the two categories of Best Annual Report, differentiating between Print and Digital.
The award is open to any company that holds an Active Membership with MEIRA at the time of applying.
Entries can be submitted by the company itself or by any third-party on behalf of the company (agency, advisor, banker, lawyer). A third party can submit entry forms for different clients.
The 2023 Annual Report can be submitted in electronic format until 30 August 2024.

Complete the form with the requested data and select the categories you want to enter.
If you want to enter the Print Category of the Annual Report, the Best Sustainability / ESG Report, or the Best 1-year Post IPO Annual Report, attach a PDF copy of the 2023 Annual Report.
If you want to enter the Digital Category of the Annual Report or the Best IR Film, attach the URL or HTML of the 2023 Annual Report.
You can participate in more than one category.

The winners will be announced at the MEIRA Awards Ceremony on 12 December 2024.
